The Ali Zafar- Meesha Shafi controversy takes a new turn almost every day. While Ali Zafar issued an official statement refuting all the allegations, social media has been going berserk, trashing the singer for his misconduct.
Speaking of how Ali harassed her, Meesha revealed two disturbing incidents to a Pakistani news portal. She explained how she ignored it the first time, but then he did it again soon after at a jam session, which is when she decided to speak up. She said, “I was jamming with my band in Lahore and the organisers insisted that he was trying to get in touch. It started turning into a thing, and I was being seen as difficult or a diva, I got such feelers. I was avoiding him. I was asked to jam, figure out songs, scale and it happened while we were jamming."
However, two female colleagues from Ali Zafar’s band have spoken up recently, supporting the pop star and refusing Meesha’s claims of being harassed the night they were jamming. Since both these women were present that day, they issues eyewitness statements, assuring that no such thing happened that night.
