Ali Fazal to Star with Wonder Woman Actress Gal Gadot in His Next Project

Ali Fazal and Gal Gadot will be starring together in an adaptation of Agatha Christie’s novel, Death on the Nile

Bollywood actor Ali Fazal is now one of the popular faces of the industry. After making his debut with 3 Idiots back in 2009 as Joy Lobo – the student who commits suicide - the actor starred in several films. But it wasn’t until Fukrey in 2013 that he finally managed to earn a name for himself that paved his way to bigger and better projects. While he was continuing to work in Bollywood, Ali also made a cameo in one of Hollywood’s most famous franchise of Fast and Furious’ 2015 installment titled Furious 7. He then also went on to play a lead role in 2017’s Victoria and Abdul with Judi Dench.

Now, after having spent a decade in the film industry, Ali has just signed another Hollywood project and this time, it’s with one of the leading ladies of the DC world. Ali will be next seen with Wonder Woman actress, Gal Gadot for an adaptation of author Agatha Chrisitie’s novel, Death on the Nile. Speaking of his involvement in the film, Ali said, “Yes, I am part of this wonderful journey and I look forward to being a part of it. My mother and I have always been huge fans of Agatha Christie novels.”

Death on the Nile will be a follow up of the 2017 film, Murder on the Orient Express which was also an adaptation of Agatha’s novel of the same name. Filmmaker Kenneth Branagh will be returning to helm the project this time around as well. He will also be reprising his role as the Belgian detective Hercule Poirot. The film will follow Hercule on his vacation in Egypt where he discovers a murder on the side of the Nile River. Death on the Nile is expected to go on floors later this month and will be filmed in London, including some parts of Europe.
