Akshay Kumar's New Song 'Muskurayega India' Spreads Positive Message During COVID19 Lockdown

The coronavirus pandemic has resulted in a lockdown across India and Bollywood is no exception. Shoots have been cancelled and events are on hold. Stars have been spending time in isolation and regaling their fans with their activities at home that includes cooking, cleaning up and watching movies. However, they have also proved to be ideal citizens and are spreading the message of the importance of social distancing.
When Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, announced the Janta Curfew and exhorted people to bang their plates and clap hands to acknowledge the efforts of the health workers, Bollywood stars joined in whole-heartedly. They also participated in the candle-lighting exercise on April 5 to express solidarity. Quite a few stars opened their purse strings to contribute generously to the Prime Minister's Fund that was created to garner money to fight the challenges posed by the virus. Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Vicky Kaushal etc were some of the actors who led the way in contributions.
Now, going further, stars have come together to star in a music video titled Muskurayega India (India will smile again) ostensibly to cheer people up as they spend time in isloation and ensure that we stand united against a common enemy. The video shot, indoors sees stars beginning with Akshay Kumar expressing hope and cheer that things will get back to normal, people will be out on the streets again and there will be celebrations once again.
