Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4 Trailer Has Been Finally Unveiled Promising Another Hilarious Saga of Confusion
Akshay Kumar and the makers of Housefull 4 have finally unveiled the trailer of this multi-starrer comedy film. Watch below.
The highly-anticipated trailer of Housefull 4 is out, after the release of its character posters and motion poster a few days ago, which revealed that this is going to be a reincarnation comedy set in 1419 and in 2019. The film, which is the fourth installment of the hit comedy franchise, features an ensemble star cast including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, Kriti Kharbanda and Chunkey Pandey. The trailer begins with Akshay’s voiceover saying that history repeats itself and they are going to repeat the mistakes they made 600 years ago, with him being as unlucky as he was in his past life.
The trailer reveals how the film is expected to follow a similar path as the previous Housefull films, with lots of characters and confusion in the house, leading to many comical situations. This time it’s the reincarnation that causes chaos as Akshay, the present-day Harry (based in London), recalls his past life as King Rajkumar Bala in Sitamgarh in 1419, with his friend Roy (Riteish Deshmukh) as Nartaki Bangdu Maharaj and another friend Max (Bobby Deol) who appears to be his arch enemy in the past life, as the fierce warrior Dharamputra. The point of confusion is that the princesses, the present-day romantic partners of the three friends (who they are soon going to tie the knot with) seem to have been swapped in 2019.
Pooja plays Rajkumari Mala / Pooja and Kriti Kharbanda is Rajkumari Meena / Neha. Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon will essay the role of Sitamgarh ki Rajkumari Madhu and Kriti. Chunky Pandey also returns in this sequel, reprising his role as comic Akhri Pasta while playing a philosopher in the 15th century. The scenes from 1419 remind one of films like Bahubaali and Padmaavat, with depictions of grand battlefields, romance in the jungle and the actors adorning costumes from that era.
The trailer is receiving a good response from the Housefull franchise fans. Housefull 4 movie marks Akshay’s return to comedy after three years while Bobby Deol, who made his comeback with Race 3, will also be seen again in a comedy after a long time. Directed by Farhad Samji, Housefull 4 promises to be a full-blown entertainer and will hit the cinemas on 25th October 2019, during the festival of Diwali.
