Akash Ambani's Wife Shloka Mehta is Giving Us Friendship Goals in a New Video With Her BFFs
Fashion icon Shloka Mehta, the new Ambani bahu, is creating a buzz in the online world again with a short video clip from her mehendi
Shloka Mehta has been in the news a lot lately due to her marriage with Akash Ambani, son of Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani, and her Bollywood fairytale wedding in March 2019. She is considered a celebrity as many look up to her because of her fashion sense and simple but elegant looks. 28-year old Shloka -- who is the youngest daughter of top Indian diamantaire Russell Arunbhai Mehta -- has fan groups dedicated to her chic fashion choices and she has won the hearts of netizens, who extensively comment on the cost, style and brands that make up her new looks, as her photos are circulated widely on social media.
A previously unseen video (made with boomerang) from Shloka’s mehendi ceremony is now doing the rounds on social media, where a lively Shloka is seen dancing with two of her BFFs. She is seen in a midnight blue anarkali (dress), a fashion essential, embroidered intricately with white and silver colours. With minimal makeup, a floral maangtika and long earrings, the diva looks effortlessly beautiful. In the video, she flaunts her mehndi while dancing and looks incredibly cheerful with her girl gang.
Apart from being a fashion icon, Shloka serves as the director of the Rosy Blue Foundation (diamond manufacturer) and is a co-founder of ConnectFor, a service that helps NGOs find volunteers. According to media reports, Akash Ambani proposed to Shloka on the last day of school and the couple were in a relationship since then, keeping it private, with the consent of their families. Many Bollywood stars, including Katrina Kaif, Siddharth Malhotra, Karan Johar, Kajol, Arjun Kapoor and various others attended Shloka and Mukesh Ambani’s grand wedding reception. Their wedding is regarded as one of the most expensive weddings in India’s history (with an expenditure of INR 110 crore according to some reports). Their wedding card alone cost INR 1.5 lakh.
