Just a few weeks ago, the talk about town was none other than the wedding of Akash Ambani, son of industrialist Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, with his childhood friend Shloka Mehta. We look back at some of the awesome pre-wedding moments.

A host of Bollywood A-listers like Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham, Karisma Kapoor, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez and many others were spotted at the star-studded affair. Many pictures from the party were posted on Instagram with the fun hashtag '#AkuStoleTheShlo'.

After the pre-wedding festivities, Akash and Shloka married on March 9 at Mumbai’s Jio World Centre. A video was released showing the couple at their wedding exchanging their vows.

Akash is heard pledging, “We will respect cherish each other, feelings and fulfil the responsibilities of married life with honor.” Shloka responds, “In happiness and sorrow, we shall conduct ourselves with dignity. In sickness and health, we shall be together.”

Akash continued the romantic and heartwarming vows, “With body mind and soul we shall be faithful to each other.”

“We shall have equal status and authority with every moment in our lives and shoulder the responsibilities of caring for our home and family,” continued Shloka.
