Bollywood star Ajay Devgn has been in the industry for almost 3 decades. The actor started his career in 1991 with Phool Aur Kaante which became an instant hit. Ever since he’s starred in numerous big productions such as Diljale, Ishq, Major Saab, Raju Chacha, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Singham and the Golmaal series, the actor has become one of the most successful stars of the industry. He also got married to Ishq co-star Kajol back in 1999 and the two are currently happily married with two children – Nysa and Yug.  No matter how big a celebrity he is, Ajay doesn’t let his stardom affect him.

Looking back at his amazing start in Bollywood, Ajay recalls, “Luckily, I never had to go through struggle in my life. Everything just fell in place. The thing I learnt from my journey is to work hard.” He added that he doesn’t believe in comparing himself with others. “I don't get carried away by success too much or bogged down by failure. Plus, I don't think about stardom and I don't care about it. I don't go out much. I don't show my power. I think both Kajol and I feel that way. We are happy in our space.”

However, the 50-year-old star does get a little worried with the constant spotlight that is always on his children. He shared, “It does hinder me but I think kids are also sensible that if they inherit so many positive things from their parents, there will be some negatives as well.” On the work front, Ajay is currently working on a period drama called Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior in which he will be sharing screen space with Kajol. Simultaneously, he’s also gearing up for a film on Indian football legend, Syed Abdul Rahim, titled Maidaan. Ajay has another Golmaal film in the pipeline as well.
