Aishwarya Rai Bachchan walks the ramp at Paris Fashion Week
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is a regular attendee at Cannes Film Festival, has walked the runway at Paris Fashion Week for the first time.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is a global icon. There's no denying that. The former Miss World has been a regular attendee of the prestigious Cannes Film Festival and has walked the red carpet of one of the most coveted events. However, this is the first time Aishwarya has walked the ramp for the brand she has been named ambassador of. The actress strutted the runway for L'Oreal's collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld.
Aishwarya donned a floral dress by Giambattista Valli. The actress shared the staged with many veterans and new comers such as Helen Mirren, Eva Longoria, Andie Macdowell, Victoria Secret angel Doutzen, Camila Cabello, Mahira Khan, Aseel among others.
Earlier, Aishwarya shared a video on her Instagram handle, in which she can be seen with her Hollywood counterpart, Eva Longoria. The two share a good bond as they are the brand ambassadors of the same beauty brand from many years. The actor met Eva and the former shared the video on his Instagram. Both the stars were in the capital of France for a fashion week.
Aishwarya captioned the post, "Friends Reunited Love Always Eva... you’re just the warmest n sweetest ever." In the video, she can be seen saying that she missed the Bollywood actor a lot. She further asks Aishwarya, "Why do you get more beautiful? What is happening?" To which the 'Fanney Khan' actress replies, "Look who’s talking."
Women of all colours and sized walked the ramp. In a celebration of motherhood, Eva Longoria walked the runway carrying her baby son, Santiago, in the grand finale. Helen Mirren and Andie McDowell made their return to the Paris runway while the lineup also saw star turns from Marie Bochet, Liya Kebede, Aja Naomi King, Doutzen Kroes, Soo Joo Park, Luma Grothe, Duckie Thot. Louise Bourgoin, Naomi Campbell, Estelle Lefebure, Sonia Rolland, Olga Kurylenko, Tina Kunakey watched from the front row.
