Bollywood is full of surprises especially when it comes to link-up reports between couples. While some rumours eventually turn out to be true, others fade out or are simply termed as fake news. From Tiger Shroff to Disha Patani amongst the current crop of budding actors to Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor making headlines for their age gap to stars like Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone eventually tying the knot after a few years of dating, romances between entertainment personalities are often far from hidden, often becoming the centre of the public eye and grabbing the attention of shutterbugs wherever and whenever.
However, there are many starlets like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bipasha Basu and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan among others who have found love in their male co-stars but eventually parted ways. While some ended ties on a bitter note, those like Katrina Kaif continue to share a close camaraderie with their exes on the professional and personal front (Case in point: Salman Khan). Aishwarya was closely linked to Vivek Oberoi for many years and the two eventually started dating, with their relationship taking a sour turn and hitting rock bottom. While the former pair never disclosed the reason for their split or rather avoided washing their dirty linen in public, reports suggested that the Jazbaa star did not want to maintain any contact with Vivek and both parties were happy to close the chapter.
In a recent development, the grapevine suggests that Aishwarya recently got agitated at her husband and actor Abhishek Bachchan for giving an “over-friendly” hug to Vivek at an event. "Abhishek's diplomatic hug was not appreciated by his better half. She wanted to know why Abhishek had to be so warm to Oberoi when he could have just said a polite hello and moved on!” a leading Indian portal quoted an insider as saying. “Abhishek would rather focus on the positives in life,” the source added. While the video of Abhishek and Vivek hugging while smiling from ear to ear became viral, we feel it was a great step on the part of both stars for hugging it out and putting their past and egos behind them.
