Aishwarya Rai Bachchan may hold the title of the most beautiful woman in the world but we haven’t gotten to see much of her lately. Be it red carpet appearances, award ceremonies or parties, she and her husband Abhishek Bachchan seem to like being off the radar and away from the spotlight. When the Jazbaa starlet made her Instagram debut in May 2018, she had the shutterbugs and her fan base ecstatic. She posted pictures from her photoshoots, family vacations and throwback pictures. However, many wondered where Aishwarya had run off to for the past two months, with her social media accounts not being updated regularly.
The actor, who was missing in action, has finally returned to Insatgram with a bang! Taking to the photo-sharing site, she posted pictures of her hubby from the Pro Kabaddi League. Sharing two images, she wrote, "ATTABOYZ...Yaaaaay PINK PANTHERRRSSS... GOD BLESSSSS (sic),” sending the B-town power couple’s fans into a frenzy. Aishwarya was cheering for Abhisek's kabaddi team, the Pink Panthers.
Quick to respond to his ladylove, Abhishek commented, “Our lucky charm.” As Aishwarya broke the Insatgram silence, her followers were seen commenting one after another! “Hope you win,” said one user. “Yay, you’re back!” added another.
On the work front, Abhishek will be seen in Anurag Basu's next, which also stars Rajkummar Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanya Malhotra and Pankaj Tripathi. Aishwarya, on the contrary, is all ready to reunite with Mani Ratnam for his forthcoming film. In a recent interview, she mentioned that her film Ponniyin Selvan with Mani is in the works. "What I will commit to is even though Mani hasn't formally announced it himself, I'm working with him. The word is out so I'm committing to that fact. And I don't have to agree. I'll always be more than thrilled, excited, overwhelmed, humbled, and just happy to work with my guru. So, ya that's happening. Back to school,” she said.
