After Pulwama Here are MORE films not releasing in Pakistan!

After Ajay Devgn announced that Total Dhamaal will not be releasing in Pakistan, here are more films that will not be released in Pakistan in the wake of the Pulwama Attack

It seems like Ajay Devgn has found support in the industry as his step of not releasing his film in Pakistan, has been welcomed by others too. According to a news website, Maddock Films founder Dinesh Vijan has also canceled his contract with Pakistan distributor and his upcoming two films Luka Chuppi and Arjun Patiala won’t be releasing in Pakistani cinemas. Luka Chuppi stars Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aryan which is one of the upcoming season’s most awaited romcoms.

This adds to the list of reactions that have come forward after Pulwama attacks. Jashn e Rekhta Festival was to be held in Dubai which was also bringing together Indian and Pakistani artists and poets which was also canceled in the wake of the Pulwama attacks. Music production company T-Series had also removed Atif Aslam and Rahat Fateh Ali’s songs from their YouTube. Sania Mirza was also under attack and was called “Pakistan’s Bahu” and was asked to be removed as brand ambassador of Telengana.

Navjot Singh Sidhu was also reportedly removed from Kapil Sharma Show as there were calls to #BoycottKapilSharma on social media and there were calls of #UnsubscribeSonyTV as well due to Navjot Singh Sidhu’s comments.

On February 14th, a van laden with explosives rammed into a CRPF convoy where 40 soldiers lost their lives. Following the tragedy, there was a call for a blanket ban on Pakistani artists. Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi also canceled their trip to Pakistan for Shabana Azmi’s father’s commemorative ceremony held at the Karachi Arts Council.
