Aditi Rao Hydari is the epitome of grace and the personification of royalty. She has often made headlines for her fresh-faced appearances on the screen and her stellar acting skills. Aditi Rao Hydari has almost never been one to opt for a bold look, wear a dark lip or winged eyeliner, so much so that nude tones have become her signature go to look. In a recent interview, the actor revealed she convinced film maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali to let her have a nude look on for the film as opposed to heavily kohl-rimmed eyes for her character Mehrunnisa in Padmaavat.

During an informal chat with renowned makeup artist Lekha Gupta, Aditi revealed how she has always had a penchant for nude and earthy tones. Most of her films including Wazir and Padmaavat show her as a fresh-faced beauty, with her skin gleaming in close-ups. "At least for most of the parts that I've done it is not required [to use] kajal or winged liner. Even in fact, for Padmaavat, originally it was decided that we would use kajal and then Sanjay sir saw me on set, like fresh in the morning and he was like, let's just go without anything," she revealed.
