Singing idol Adele became a singing sensation after her first album released in 2008 titled '19'. Graduate of the BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology in Croydon, she gained success with '19' and quickly became an acclaimed artist. Her album '21' released a few years later, in 2011, and her song 'Rolling in the Deep' became the iconic ballad of the year. Adele herself describes the song as a "dark blues-y gospel disco tune". On Billboard Top 100, the song stayed in the list for seven weeks.
Adele recently announced that she and her husband Simon Konecki have separated. This has been confirmed by her representatives and they released a statement on Friday saying that the couple is "committed to raising their son together lovingly". The couple have a son named Angelo who was born in 2012. Adele married Simon Konecki in 2016 after being with him for five years. Fiercely private, Adele's representatives have also said that there would be no further comment. Adele had not even talked about the news of her marriage to Simon Konecki and had only announced him as 'husband' in a speech in 2017.
Adele has also often written about her breakups in her songs. Her recent hit 'Hello' is also about failure in romance. In a show, Adele had spoken about the song saying, "I felt all of us were moving on, and it's not about an ex-relationship, a love relationship, it's about my relationship with everyone that I love. It's not that we have fallen out, we've all got our lives going on and I needed to write that song so they would all hear it, because I'm not in touch with them." The line in the song "Hello from the other side", according to the Skyfall singer, signifies "the other side of becoming an adult, making it out alive from your late teens, early twenties."
