Abhishek Bachchan shares thank you video following coronavirus recovery
The star was diagnosed with the virus spent 29 days in hospital
Abhishek Bachchan has shared a thank you video to his various social media channels, after fans endlessly sent their well wishes to the star while he was in hospital.
Bachchan, aged 44 was taken to hospital last month after being diagnosed with the virus. His father, Amitabh Bachchan, wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and son Aaradhya Bachchan were also diagnosed with the virus.
The rest of the Bachchan family made a speedy recovery, but Abhiskeh was held back in hospital after continuing to test positive. He shared his frustrations on social media but continued to have a positive attitude before he was finally discharged.
“A promise is a promise! This afternoon I tested Covid-19 NEGATIVE!!! I told you guys I’d beat this. thank you all for your prayers for me and my family. My eternal gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff at Nanavati hospital for all that they have done. THANK YOU!”, he wrote.
Now, the star has posted a heartwarming video to his Twitter and Instagram captioned “Words will never be enough. Thank you ALL” followed by the praying emoji. The video starts with a short message reading “I would like to thank all the fans and well-wishers for all their love, support and prayers for my speedy recovery. I am absolutely overwhelmed reading through so many posts on my feeds. Love and gratitude”.
The video then shows a slideshow of tweets and messages that fans sent to the star, including fan drawings of the actor and personalised prayers and messages.
Actor Hrithik Roshan replied to the Instagram post saying “This is so sweet”.
