He is loved by everyone in the industry and is recognised for his work in Padmaavat, Ram Leela, Gully Boy and Bajirao Mastani. Not only is he known for his astounding acting skills, but also for his quick wit and his oh so gorgeous looks. He tied the knot with the love of his life, Deepika Padukone, last year and is currently gearing up for his upcoming film, ’83. He is currently in London working on the Kabir Khan directorial, which will mark the first time he will be seen alongside Deepika Padukone since they tied the knot.

2. His Relationship With Ahana Deol

Ranveer Singh tied the knot with the love of his life, Deepika Padukone last year and they are indeed living a blissfully wedded life. The two dated for seven years before tying the knot and got married in a private ceremony in Como last year. But of course, before Deepika there were others. Before making his Bollywood debut Ranveer Singh dated Ahana Deol, daughter of Hema Malini and Dharmendra while they were in college. The two remain good friends, and Ranveer also attended her wedding!

3. The Kapoor Connection

Not many of you may know this, but Ranveer Singh and Sonam Kapoor are actually cousins. Ranveer Singh’s father, Jagjit Singh and Sonam Kapoor’s mother, Sunita Kapoor are cousins; which makes them cousins from the maternal side. So now that makes it clear as to why he shares such a good rapport with Anil Kapoor.

4. His First Job

Believe it or not, Ranveer Singh’s first job was not in acting. Soon after he returned from the US, Ranveer Singh worked as a copywriter in O&M advertising agency for a long time. He also took up a job as an assistant director before he entered the Bollywood industry

5. He Is a True Foodie

Although Ranveer Singh is well built and works super hard at the gym, the Padmaavat actor loves eating junk food. He is also a lover of spicy food and noodles and Chinese cuisine is among his favourite things to eat. Interestingly, he also endorses an Indian brand of Hakka noodles by the name Ching’s Secret.

6. He’s a Pro at Rejections!

Ranveer Singh has some astounding films under his belt in which his performance has been unmatched. But what you probably didn’t know is that the actor had refused three Bollywood films before making his debut with Band Baaja Baarat. He had always wanted to make his debut in Bollywood as a lead actor and it is believed that Ranveer’s father paid YRF a huge amount to get him the role.
