Ever since the release of Simran, the internet has been abuzz with varied reviews on the Kangana Ranaut starrer. With some fans going all out praising her performance, there were others who pointed out at the flawed script.
Unless you were living under a rock, you must all be well aware of the ugly spat between the writer of the film, Apurva Asrani and Kangana Ranaut. The former accused Queen K of stealing writing credits, but closer to the release of the film, the issue was amicably settled with Asrani given full credit. Apurva also challenged that, post the release of Simran, the filmmakers release the original script that was written by him, without interference from Kangana. While we all await to find out how the original script was written, Apurva tweeted this morning, “We all need to take responsibility for #Simran, including myself. But my script is being posted soon. See for yourself what was intended.”
Apurva’s tweet was in reply to a fan who asked, “@Apurvasrani Many critics have highlighted problem in #Simran script. Will your Co-Writer own up the loopholes in script? Just asking?”
Now that the writer has demanded the original script to be shown, we will finally find out- whether Kangana’s interference was a plus for Simran or not. Watch this space for updates on the release of the script.
