1. Watch the fireworks
The highly anticipated fireworks will take place on the first day of Eid at Dubai Festival City at 9pm and 11pm, whilst mesmerising firework displays will light up the sky at The Beach opposite JBR daily from 31 August - 3 September at 8.45pm. The venue will also host various performances on a daily basis to keep families entertained throughout the Eid holiday.
2. Catch a concert
To celebrate the Eid holiday, there will be two concerts taking place across the city by two renowned Arab music icons. On 2 September, Emirati singer Shamma Hamdan will perform at Dragon Mart 2 at 6.30pm whilst later in the week Mohammed Abdo will take to the stage at Dubai World Trade Centre on 6 September at 9pm to delight fans with a raft of hit songs.
3. Experience La Perle
Be the first to step foot into La Perle as it opens its doors this Eid from 31 August. A live masterpiece, produced by legendary Artistic Director, Franco Dragone, La Perle is a breath-taking fusion of immersive artistic performances, imagery and technology. Be ready to be transported to a new era of entertainment this Eid!
4. Say goodbye to Modhesh
Little ones will also have the last chance to say goodbye to their favourite character, Modhesh at Modhesh World as he leaves on 3 September to return next year. Kids will enjoy virtual reality workshops, an array of performances, various amusement activations and tucking into delicious bites at the food trucks.
5. Laugh out loud at Mercato Mall
Mercato Mall will be hosting a ‘Comic Quick Change Show’ where children and adults will
chuckle their way through this multitalented show that combines comedy, quick change and magic.
6. Be entertained at City Walk
From the 1 - 4 September, City Walk will put on an interactive activation from various award-winning leisure and entertainment venues, including The Green Planet, Hub Zero and Mattel Play! Town. These activity stations will include experiences such as live animal showcases, trivia quizzes, craft sessions, face painting booths, old school arcade gaming stations such as Asteroid, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders and much more.
7. Bag some home-inspo
IKEA is bringing an exciting pop-up catalogue activation to Dubai Festival City over the Eid holiday. The stunning four room set up will have various activities for the entire family, including an Interior Design Workshop on the 1 September where IKEA interior design experts will give design inspiration and home furnishing ideas to budding home makeover enthusiasts.
8. Get physical at Dubai Sports World
Sports-lovers can head to Dubai World Trade Centre which is hosting the 7th edition of Dubai Sports World featuring sports, tournaments, academies and activities designed for both serious athletes and sporting novices of all ages.
9. Be thrilled at IMG Worlds of Adventure
Parents can treat the little ones to Dubai’s first ever indoor theme park IMG Worlds of Adventure to enjoy the parades and live performances. With multiple adventure zones and thrilling rides, as well as several restaurants offering a pleasant dining experience, it is an ideal day out for the family.
10. Bag a bargain at The Outlet Village
