Post the shoot of Veere Di Wedding, which is all set to release soon, Sonam Kapoor has now signed up for another exciting project. This time it’s with south sensation Dulquer Salmaan. Yes you heard it right! The film called The Zoya Factor, is based on Anuja Chauhan’s book, and will be directed by Abhishek Sharma, who made other memorable films like, Tere Bin Laden and The Shaukeens.
Sharing her joy on social media, Sonam and Dulquer posted a poster of the film that is scheduled to release on April 5, 2019!
Anuja Chauhan’s 2008 written novel, was essentially centred on a PR executive, Zoya Solanki, who was born around the time when India lifted the 1983 World Cup. While working on a project, she comes across a low spirited Indian cricket team, who invite her for breakfast. Following that they happen to win the match that day, making them and the media, both believe that Zoya was their lucky charm! Then comes the entry of the handsome cricket captain (Dulquer), who believes it’s all a hoax and luck has nothing to do with a gram of cricket.
Interesting story line right? We can’t wait to hear more about this film!
