The year may be over, but for some Bollywood celebrities, it has been a tough year. Priyanka Chopra has been on her toes lately as her father is coping with a dreaded disease which continues to plague him.
The year 2012 proved to be a rather successful year for Priyanka with 'Barfi!' being nominated for the Oscars and her song 'In My City' doing great both in India and overseas. But lately the actress has been running to and fro from the hospital to her shooting locations at odd hours, sometimes even at midnight. "She is very close to her father (she recently got a tattoo that says 'daddy's little girl') and has been juggling between work and home," says a source.
The actress who has lots on her plate at the moment with 'Zanjeer', 'Krrish 3' and the recently confirmed 'Milan Talkies', has decided to stand by her father despite all her professional commitments.
She isn't the only one... Actor Varun Dhawan also flew down from Bangkok to visit his father David Dhawan, who was rushed to hospital on Friday night when the director collapsed due to a low blood sugar level. Varun, who was shooting an advertisement in Bangkok, immediately boarded the next available flight to reach Mumbai. "My father is fine now, but it was quite a scary experience for us" says Varun heaving a sigh of relief.
We love you both, PC and Varun, for having this compassion for your dads who were there for you before anything else. We wish them all the best.
