Take your pick from our top five hen night ideas...
A brunch, catered in, or cooked at home ensures (well, somewhat) that any untoward behaviour takes place behind closed doors. Zuma or Okku's private sections are great options for this.
? Invent a signature cocktail and serve with 'naughty or nice' napkins from the Paper Room.
? Invent wicked names for finger food.
? Get your guests saucy name cards and call them by their new names at the party.
2.Sinful spa day
Book a beauty day. Many spas have hen packages, where you can set up a spa at home or enjoy a day at the spa. Indulge in facials, massages and manicures whilst you nibble on canaps and crack open a bottle (or a few!). Try Sister's Beauty Lounge Spa for an easy feel.
? Design and print your own spa menu with naughty names.
? Get matching robes with the brides' name monogrammed on it.
? Lace those smoothies and name them.
? Make it a slumber party and write to us with post-mortem stories!
Pick a date, set a menu (they may even print special menus for you). Try to choose somewhere that has food and music, so you don't have to taxi around from place to place. Nobu is a nice treat for hens.
? A theme or dress code always helps.
? Try to pick somewhere that you won't bump into people you know.
? Give everyone a disposable camera to capture those censored moments.
? A public place makes for great
dares, ask everyone to bring along a
list of suggestions!
Make your way across town in a cheesy (but fun) uber long limo. Get some info from the groom about places that are important to the couple and why, and devise some crafty questions to make the bride guess where she is going.
? Make your limo feel like home or, at the very least, a saucy boudoir.
? Take along some fun music.
? A few beverages never hurt a hen.
? Don't forget the sick bags, just in case!
This can be tricky and dependent on different financial situations and commitments. Plan spa treatments and sight-seeing during the day and save the hard partying for the evening. Our fave hen getaway – Le Grey in Beirut, Lebanon (read all about it in our Honeymoon special p67).
? Have fun goodies and an itinerary waiting for all the guests in their rooms.
? A basket of goodies for the bride to unwrap in her room is a must.
? Theme a keepsake that you can all wear on your trip.
