The host of popular show "Bindas Cash Cab", Munish Makhija aka Muna (pictured left), also popularly known as Udham Singh, is absolutely fine and is not hospitalised, said his wife, actress-director Pooja Bhatt.
The article, which appeared in one of the Mumbai newspaper, saying he was in the hospital, is totally false, she said.
Apparently no one confirmed the news with Munish or Pooja, who is very annoyed and angry because of the false news. She said that at a time when the situation in Mumbai and all over India is very tense because of the terrorist attacks, such type of humour is not acceptable.
According to the report Munish was severely injured when the cab he was driving rammed into a tree in a last ditch attempt to avoid a head-on collision with a truck. The report further states that the incident happened in Naigon while he was shooting for a reality show on December 12.
Pooja Bhatt said, "I and Muna are not interested in gaining this type of cheap publicity. In future if any such emergency comes then people will take it as a joke."
