Categories

The Masala! Awards are divided into two categories - Popular Choice and Judges' Choice.

The Popular Choice categories are open to public voting only from registered Masala.com users, which means that your votes decide who gets to take home the prestigious prize. At the end of the voting period, all the votes received are tallied, and the nominee with the highest number of votes in each category declared the winner.

The Judges' Choice categories are decided by our esteemed Panel of Judges. The men and women on the panel are leaders in their respective fields – from business and fashion to art and entertainment. Uniquely qualified to make unbiased, educated, informed and researched nominations, the judges have a series of meetings through the year in order to, initially, arrive at a shortlist, and, ultimately, reach a consensus on the final winners.
