Kangana Ranaut is on a spree. After investing in a plush bungalow at Pali Hill in Mumbai, the actress is all set to finish off work on her sprawling property, she bought in her hometown, Manali.

Queen K recently took off to Manali to spend the festive season with her family, and reportedly also finish off work on her new holiday home that’s almost ready. According to a report on Mumbai Mirror, she made a quick pit stop at Chandigarh, with her interior designer, Shabnam Gupta to pick up crockery and cutlery for her new home in the hills. The report states, “It’s an eight-bedroom house, spread across three levels, with the staff quarters on the lower ground. The ground floor is dedicated to entertainment and the first floor is Kangana’s private space.”

Her interior decorator further described the property in Himachal, saying that the house is grey and has clay roof tiles imported from Europe. A traditi0nal chimney is also installed on the roof to give it a vintage rustic look. She said, “We have retained the steps and different levels typical of the mountains. But the wilderness of its surroundings has been tamed inside where everything is finished and perfect set, lots of neutral shades and soft pastels with tints of pink.”

She went on to reveal, “The bungalow even has a glass conservatory, a sunroom to the east and a den with its walls lined with memorabilia. We have also put in somewhat of an industrial gym, and the property has a breath-taking view of the Himalayas to top it all.” The actress is said to have zeroed in on Shabnam being her decorator after she saw the splendid work she had done on actor, Irrfan Khan’s Andheri home. Speaking about Kangana’s brief to her, Shabnam said, “She was very clear with her directions. She said. ‘I’m a mountain girl and I want to be true to my roots.’” She went on to add, “Kangana is emotionally connected to the mountains. She has been handpicking lots of rugs and cushions unique to the region from local artisans.” Sounds like one gorgeously designed home, isn’t it?

Shabnam has previously designed spaces for Raveena Tandon and Parineeti Chopra and is currently working on Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukerji’s Juhu bungalow.

Kangana’s home is said to be fully ready by next month, and we can’t wait to get a glimpse of it!
