What’s your latest bridal collection about?
My latest collection is about beautiful Chantilly laces. There is a new, global Indian feeling, modern Indian silhouettes, extremely elegant, sophisticated and young. It is all about finding a global Indian look in re-defining the silhouettes as newer forms of saris, sari gowns and almost gown-like kurta sets.
What’s the latest trend for Cocktail evenings?
Jacket lehangas, sari gowns and sari lehangas.
What cut/type of gown should a bride opt for?
If you are a fit, tall sexy girl, then you should opt for a fish mermaid gown from us. It depends on your body type and personality. Do not follow trends. Follow your heart.
How should she best accessorize her Cocktail outfit? What type of jewelry should the bride be wearing?
Minimal jewelry works with our outfits, especially with our new Indian-wear designs - more of classical, diamonds and Victorian jewelry is what would work best.
What colours are in fashion right now for the Cocktail evening?
Gold is definitely big and very beautiful. Also, deep rich colours like wine, emeralds and bottle greens.
What fabrics should a bride go for?
She should go for flowing fabrics, special silhouettes and natural fabrics in silks and georgettes, along with delicate laces.
How should a bride make her look stand out?
Wear Gaurav Gupta.
