Gone are the days of Deepika Padukone would wear her heart on her sleeves and proclaim to the word that she is besotted with Ranbir Kapoor. The strange public strategy adopted by Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff has not spurred journalists in Mumbai, with many are terming them as "fake". While the world knows and they too make it obvious that they are a couple, Disha and Tiger have taken a public stand that they will call each other "Just friends". They don't care if they are being branded as "fake" or being blamed for hiding their relationship.
According to sources, both Disha and Tiger have taken a joint decision in front of their media teams that none of them will talk about their personal lives. The Indian media has also apparently agreed to the strategy because it might lead to more speculation which in turn will generate more publicity.
Apparently, it has been decided that whatever they do in their personal lives and even make a show of it on social media, they would never admit it in front of the camera or a journalist. "It's a decision and they are going to stick to the decision. They will never avoid the questions about each and never ask you to change the question. But since they will be giving the same answers day in and day out with a smiling face. One day, you will be bored of asking them the same question and just move on," said a source.
This strategy reflects the way youngsters are perceiving media these days. Who thought that a denial can get you more publicity than an admittance?
