Can you imagine burying yourself deep in mud barely being able to breath yet smiling through the ordeal? Well, actress Divya Dutta has done just that, proving that good actors can go to any lengths to make a scene look authentic. In a still from the movie Babumoshai Bandookbaaz co-starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Divya has been photographed smiling as she is buried neck deep in mud in what looks like a field. A report said, it was shot at an open land in Lucknow and Divya had to get over her claustrophobia to shoot it. Apparently, the scene took over three hours to shoot in the scorching heat of summer and Divya had to stay put in that look for the entire time!
“Fighting the phobia”, the actress tweeted as she pinned a picture on her twitter timeline. The film has been directed by Kushan Nandy and has been making news for Nawazuddin’s unique avatar.
Divya Dutta is known for her work in films like Heroine, Badlapur and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag in recent years.
