Date of Birth: 3rd September 1959

Shakti Kapoor is best known as an actor in comic and villainous roles. It's claimed that he's acted in the highest number of films in the world. Shakti has most notably co-starred with Kader Khan. Together they delivered many hits in the 1980s and 1990s.

Shakti was embroiled in controversy in 2005, when during a sting operation, he solicited sexual favours from a television reporter posing as an aspiring Bollywood actress. This incident ostracised the actor for a short period of time.

Shakti is married to Shivangi and has two children - daughter Shraddha and son Siddhanth. Shraddha is slowly making her mark in Bollywood and has acted in the movie 'Luv ka The End'.

Shakti has since been a part of movies like 'Hungama', 'Bhagam Bhag' and 'No Problem'. His most recent film was 'Bin Bulaaye Baraati' with Aftab Shivdasani and Johnny Lever.

Shakti is now a contestant on the reality TV show 'Bigg Boss' Season 5. He started out as the only male participant on the show.
