Date of Birth: 9th June 1985

Sonam Kapoor is the daughter of Anil Kapoor. She made her debut in 2007 in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Although the film bombed, Sonam was noticed and was signed on for new projects and got several ad endorsements including L'Oreal.

While none of her films since her debut - 'Delhi 6', 'Aisha', 'I Hate Luv Storys' and 'Thank You' have done spectacularly well at the box office, Sonam has benefited from her position as Bollywood's resident style queen. She was a hit at her first appearance at the Cannes International Film Festival in 2011, and remains one of the industry's most fashion forward stars.
