Paresh Rawal

Date of Birth: 30th May 1950

Film and theatre actor Paresh Rawal used to play the role of villain in movies in the 1980s and early 1990s. Since 2000, he has successfully shifted to comedic roles.

He is a two-time National Award winner: for his role as the Indian leader Sardar Patel in the film Sardar, and another for his ground-breaking performance in Tamanna.

Paresh is married to the former Miss India, Swaroop Sampat.
