Actor Salman Khan made his acting debut in a supporting role in 1988's flop film Biwi Ho To Aisi. However, he became the nation's heartthrob after playing the lead in Maine Pyar Kiya.

One of the current superstars of Bollywood, Salman's acting career has been a mixed bag of hits and misses. He has, nevertheless, starred in some of the highest earning films in the history of Hindi cinema and has a massive fan base.
