Karan Johar

Karan Johar is a popular Bollywood director, producer and TV talk show host. Karan had a tiny appearance in Aditya Chopra's Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayege and also assisted the director in the film.

He later debuted as a director with the star trio of Shahrukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherji with Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Karan's films are high on melodrama and have opulent settings and a high-voltage cast. He is superstitious about the letter K and all his films begin with the alphabet. He became a household name with his TV show Koffee with Karan, in which he would grill his celebrity friends about their personal lives. He is also known for selecting Shahrukh Khan's wardrobe and hanging out with his wife, Gauri.

Karan is best friends with Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukherji, Preity Zinta and Abhishek Bachchan.
