Konkona's portrayal of a young Tamil housewife in Mr and Mrs Iyer won her major accolades. She crossed over into mainstream cinema with roles in Life in a ... Metro, Omkara, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag and Aaja Nachle.

She is dating actor Ranvir Shorey.

i was not knowing anything about her before watching her movie in luck by chance i liked her simplicity and acting v much and my life has chaged v much i want to meet her can u give her address so that i can write a letter to her
