Date of Birth: 16th July 1984

One of 8 sisters, Katrina Kaif is of mixed parentage - British mother and Kashmiri father. She began her career as a model and struggled to find her footing in Bollywood as her knowledge of Hindi was limited. She made a disastrous debut in Boom, but her fortunes steadily improved with time. On screen, her pairing with Akshay Kumar has been successful. After delivering 4 hits in 2007, Katrina became really popular. Movies like 'Race', 'Welcome', 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani', 'Raajneeti' have been among her many box-office successes.

Although 'Tees Maar Khan', the Farah Khan movie in which she starred opposite Akshay Kumar flopped, Katrina scored points for 'Sheila Ki Jawani', her wildly popular item number in it.

It was an open secret hat Katrina was dating Salman Khan, although neither party ever commented on it. The couple reportedly broke up in 2010 after Katrina allegedly became involved with Ranbir Kapoor, her co-star in 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani' and 'Raajneeti'. But Sallu and Kat are acting together again in Yash Raj Films' 'Ek Tha Tiger', which shows that they still share a friendship.
