Date of Birth: 21st May 1971

Aditya Chopra is the son of producer and director Yash Chopra, and together they have topped Bollywood's power list several times. Aditya has scripted 10 films and produced more than 15 movies. However, it was his directorial debut Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge in 1994 that made him a popular name in India. The film is a love story starring Shahrukh Khan and Kajol and remains a firm favourite among Bollywood fans, running for over 500 consecutive weeks at a cinema in Mumbai. He has also directed Mohabbatein, which brought together Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan on screen for the first time.

Aditya has filed for divorce from his wife Payal and is rumoured to be dating actress Rani Mukerji.
