Shiamak Davar
Date of Birth: 19th October 1961
One of India’s most popular contemporary choreographers, Shiamak found Bollywood fame with Yash Chopra’s ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’. His amazing moves shown off by SRK, Madhuri Dixit and Karishma Kapoor in the movie soon had the world dancing along. Since then, the choreographer, considered the first Indian to bring dance forms like jazz, hip-hop, salsa and many more to thousands of students through his dance institute ‘Shaimak Dawar Institute of Performing Arts’, has gone from strength to strength. Shahid Kapoor was one of his students!
