Breaking News: Salman Khan Convicted in Black Buck Case; Faces Upto SIX Years iN Prison

Breaking News: Salman Khan Convicted in Black Buck Case; Faces Upto SIX  Years iN Prison

News has just come in that Salman Khan has been convicted in the black buck shooting case. The verdict has come in, nearly 20 years after the case was filed against the actor and a few of his co-stars including Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam. 

Salman was accused of killing two black bucks on October 2, 1998 in Kankani village in Jodhpur during the shooting of Hum Saath Saath Hain. He was acquitted in two poaching cases by the high court and in a case under Arms Act by the lower court.

All the actors were present in court when the verdict was read out. Salman Khan was charged under Section 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act. The maximum punishment under Section 51 is six years.
