Even though Kangana Ranaut’s Simran received a lukewarm response from fans and at the box office, the film still continues to create headlines. What started with the Apurva-Kangana spat over writing credits, soon went on to them publically slamming each other. Apurva even went on to reveal text messages between him and Kangana, which indicated toward major issues between the actress and director, Hansal Mehta.
In a bid to end the age old debate over credits, Apurva has now released the original script, highlighting flaws in the changes that were made by Kangana. He tweeted:
While Apurva still tries to clear the air, Hansal Mehta deactivated his Twitter account a few days ago. Soon after, speculation was rife about the director taking this step to hide from fans reviewing Simran, but, clarifying his action, he took to Twitter saying,” Since so many people are speculating about me deleting my twitter a/c here I am. Thankful for both the love and criticism coming our way. #Simran is an unconventional film about an unusual character. I’m very proud of it."
Now that the original script has been released, we’ll have to wait to find out what fans think about it. Why don’t you read it yourself and decide too? Find it here!
