Pakistani singer Ali Zafar is all set to start a new innings as an actor in Bollywood with the comedy 'Tere Bin Laden' that will also star veteran theatre personalities Barry John and Piyush Mishra.
The 30-year old will play a news reporter from Pakistan, who is desperate to migrate to the US in pursuit of his dream. He fails to get there because of visa problems so he decides to produce a fake video of Osama Bin Laden to attraction attention, but lands in trouble.
Produced by Aarti Shetty and Pooja Shetty Deora, the film will be directed by Abhishek Sharma and with Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy composing the music.
Zafar's music album 'Masti' was a hit with the Indian audiences.
We wish Ali all the best for his Bollywood debut, and here's to him rocking the audience just like he did at the HSY show at Dubai Fashion Week some time ago.
