The Ali Zafar- Meesha Shafi sexual harassment controversy is taking a new turn every single day. With most fans lashing out at Ali Zafar on social media for his misconduct, the singer has found support in few of his colleagues. A few days ago, in a long social media post, Meesha accused Ali for sexually harassing her on several occasions.
While Ali took his time to refute the allegations, he finally tweeted, calling her out for wrongly trying to malign his image. He then also sent her a legal notice, demanding for an apology, within two weeks.
Now, in a recent turn of events, Meesha’s lawyer has come out with a rather surprising piece of information. Her legal counsel Barrister Muhammad Ahmad Pansota claimed that the singer has "proof of sexual harassment" against Ali Zafar. Meesha recently revealed the identity of her legal councils.
He told Geo News, that Meesha wouldn’t have created an issue if she didn’t have evidence to back it up. "She has proof of sexual harassment against Ali Zafar," he said, adding that the accusations and evidence are being closely examined and the verdict should be out soon. He also went on to add that the matter could only be settled if Ali issued a public apology to Meesha! Speaking about their course of action, Barrister Pansota said, “Once a legal notice is sent from the other side, we will decide how to go about the issue.”
