Nayomi brides

Nayomi’s collection Fairouz, for the bride-to-be, is proving a hit with the to-be-married, the very-much-married and the firmly-single lot among us. Ranging from modern to traditional and from playful to demure, it is a must-have on our lingerie shopping list.

Enough already!

Ameesha can’t stop talking about her designer bags and knowhow. She says, and we quote: “I bought my first LV handbag at 16! At 18, I bought my first Chanel bag and in school, I’d carry a Moschino bag. It was so small that all it could carry was a pencil case. But it looked so good that it was all that mattered.” She was also touting her latest purchases – “a very colourful, limited edition hand-painted LV bag. I also bought a Bottega Venetta.” Someone tell the woman that a true-blue fashionista will not be shouting from the rooftops about her purchases. Only the nouveau riche will.

Damas’ offer

Damas has launched a limited edition Eid pendant crafted in 18kt gold, accentuated by diamonds, black mother of pearl, and other gemstones. To promote this pendant, Damas is raffling off 18 all-expenses paid trips for two to Saudi (Umrah), Turkey, Maldives and Egypt or three kilos of gold as prizes when you spend Dhs2,500 at any of its stores.

* Offer valid till October 5.

S*uce thinks pink

Here is your chance to own a gorg accessory and contribute to a good cause. Bil Arabi designer, Nadine Kanso, is helping S*uce raise money by selling a limited edition bracelet in 18kt pink gold. Shaped in the form of the breast cancer ribbon this little beauty also spells out ‘love’ in Arabic. And if you spend Dhs100 at S*uce you can get your own sp*rkly tote embellished by Michelle Roberts. All proceeds will go to the Friends of Cancer Patients society.

* Also available at XVA, S*uce Lite, ZenYoga and all N-bar outlets.
