Apprehensive about shooting in Kashmir

Why is Karisma Kapoor staying at home when the whole of Bollywood is minting money judging reality shows or hosting them?

Apparently, Karisma has been apprehensive about a lot of things and that's why her comeback has not yet materialised.

Karisma had reportedly been finalised to play the female lead in “Lamha”, which would have been her comeback film. However, she chickened out at the last minute because she was afraid of shooting in the troubled Kashmir valley where a significant part of the film is going to be shot.

“Lamha” is based on Kashmir and will throw light on different issues ranging from terrorists, the army, the displaced Kashmiri pundits and the locals. It's a story about an army man and his love interest in Kashmir, but at the same time, it will portray the various issues that the state has been facing for years now.
