As a mark of respect for Ganesh Chaturthi and Ramadan

We might have spotted a drunk Sohail Khan at a party but brother Salman has sworn to stay clean till at least Ganesh Chaturthi and Ramadan are over.

Salman was at this best during the recent Ganesh festival at his home. As a show of their secularism, for the first time his family brought home a Ganesh idol and marking the 10-day festival with fervour. After the Ganpati sthapana in his apartment Salman walked down the elder guests to their cars as well as made sure to wave at his fans who waited outside his house for hours.

It was during this festivity at his home that Sallu impulsively decided to give up hard drinks, for the time being.

Known for his fondness for alcohol, Sallu is likely to go back to the bottle when he celebrates Eid.
