Their boutique on Jumeirah Beach Road is almost ready and Falguni and Shane Peacock plan to have a high profile star-studded opening later this year. So no surprise that Dubai was the inspiration behind the garments they displayed on the ramp on day three of the Dubai Fashion Fiesta.

The entire collection consisted of long flowing gowns, kaftans, shift dresses and abayas in the designer couple's signature blend of animal, floral, jewel and graphic prints. The palette was a vivid mix of burnt ochre, moss green, berry, ocean blue, pewter, orange, red and black.

Waists were accentuated with sequinned belts and the detailing on necks, shoulders and backs included their trademark gemstone embroidery, diamontes and feathers.

The only break from the monotonous silhouettes was a glam micro-mini dress covered with gold and black sequins in an animal print pattern.

The collection, which includes a few ensembles from their show at the Los Angeles Fashion Week, is available at Designer's Lounge, Al Mina Road, Dubai, until July 28.
