Shahid-Vidya dis-konnected!
It seems he's not even talking to her!
It was a very unlikely match: The somber 27-year-old Shahid Kapur and the giggly Vidya Balan, all of 30.
Their friendship/relationship has made news ever since Shahid and Kareena broke up last year. But now that Kismat Konnection has been released, and no negative or positive publicity matters, Shahid and Vidya are said to have drifted apart.
In fact, it's Shahid who has reportedly chosen to drift (or walk?) away. It seems he's not even talking to her!
This has left Vidya feeling betrayed and devastated. After all, it was she who consoled Shahid when he got dumped and has hung around him ever since. She also never denied queries about their link-up, leaving much open to speculation.
Her obvious eagerness to have a man in her life may have stifled the image conscious Shahid, who's very closed about his private life.
It's also been said that Shahid's growing closeness to tennis star Sania Mirza has caused the rift between him and Vidya, as Sania is not too pleased about Vidya's presence in his life.
It's sad the dis-konnection has happened so suddenly. But then didn't we say they were an unlikely match to begin with?
