Backs out of a music video at the last minute

Tabu backed out of a music video at the last minute leaving the producers in a soup as they had no other alternative at their disposal.

The music video "Main Nahin Jaana" was to be made for Music Today. It would have features Tabu in the lead as a small time girl who aspires to be a star but ends up becoming an escort girl and committing suicide.

The shoot in question was supposed to be held in a suburban hotel in Mumbai on Thursday and Friday. On Wednesday evening, Tabu called up to say that she will not be able to report for the shoot.

The Artiste & Repertoire Head from Music Today (producer of the video) Manu Kohli and the director Shiraz Bhattacharya (of "Aaja Pia Tohe Pyaar Doon" music video starring Shyla Lopez) were left greatly inconvenienced by Tabu's sudden decision to back out of the video.

And since they had already erected a set worth Rs 4 lakhs they had no choice but to get a new model at the last minute.

Luckily, they found actress Bhavna Pani to replace Tabu.
