Newly divorced author is interested in the starlet now!

According to Mumbai tabloids, the latest interest in Salman Rushdie's life is none other than Riya Sen. Rushdie has apparently invited Riya to join him and spend some time with him. It is believed that Riya and Rushdie spent a lot of time together when Rushdie visited Mumbai in January this year.

Sources say that they were also seen together at the nightclub Aurus located in Juhu. Since then they are in regular touch via the phone and the e-mail. And the contact isn't sporadic; they telephone or email each other practically on a daily basis.

Rushdie was married to literary agent Clarissa Luard, then lived in with writer Robyn Davidson before marrying yet another writer, Marianne Wiggins, before going on to marry Padma Lakshmi!
