Spielberg’s gift for Amitabh Bachchan
The actor received a coffee table book from the maestro
Steven Spielberg wove his magic around everyone in Bollywood last week when he visited Mumbai and interacted with the stars. However, he had a special gift for the biggest star of them all – Amitabh Bachchan. Big B received a coffee table book from the genius Hollywood filmmaker. However, while the actor was excited about the gift, he refused to reveal what was written inside.
"Another evening with Steven Spielberg at dinner... a gift for me from him... his coffee table book. What he wrote inside CBD. CBD: Cannot be disclosed," tweeted Amitabh.
The 70-year-old veteran not just anchored Spielberg's masterclass with as many as 61 Indian filmmakers last week but he was also the first guest to arrive at a party organised by business tycoon Anil Ambani and his wife Tina in Speilberg's honour.
Spielberg was in India to celebrate the success of his film ‘Lincoln’, a co-production between his banner DreamWorks and Anil Ambani's Reliance Entertainment.
For the party at the Ambanis' residence at Cuffe Parade, Amitabh came with his wife Jaya, and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai.
