Sallu to star in Subhash Ghai's movie?
The superstar may be acting in the veteran filmmaker's upcoming venture!
The maverick Aquarian producer-director Subhash Ghai celebrated his 68th birthday recently and announced the heroine for his upcoming film 'Kanchi'. The actress who will star in the movie is 21-year-old Mishti from Kolkata - predictably, her name starts with Subhash Ghai's characteristic 'M'. The director has introduced other beauties like Manisha Koirala and Mahima Chowdhary to the screen and evengave Madhuri Dixit a new avatar!
Apparently Ghai has even managed to rope in top Khan, Sallu, for the film! In Ghai’s words “We’re going to start a film from January 2014, which I will direct.” Apparently, it will be an action packed masala entertainer. The last film they did together was the disastrous 'Yuvvraaj'. Even though it starred Salman and Kat at the height of their romance, it didn’t help the box-office ratings!
However, Sallu remains loyal to Ghai and apparently makes it a point to visit him once in two weeks. Says Ghai, “He has given me a lot of love and respect.”
Let's hope this movie is as successful as their relationship.
