‘Dedh Ishqiya’ has no female lead after Kangna walks out
A rather clueless Arshad Warsi confesses that he has no idea who he’ll be romancing this time in ‘Dedh Ishqiya’! Apparently, Kangna Ranaut, who had earlier walked out of ‘Bullet Raja’, has now chosen to turn down Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ as well. Arshad, when asked about his love interest in the film quips, “I don’t know who I am romancing this time, since I have no clue who has been roped in as Kangna’s replacement.” The actor was earlier told to make changes in his dates. He says, “There were some changes in the dates but I was looking forward to working with her (Kangna). She’s a very talented actress.”
We wonder why Kangs is walking out of big movies like ‘Bullet Raja’ and ‘Dedh Ishqiya’. Reports are that director Abhishek Chaubey is having a tough time casting for ‘Dedh… once she quit the project. “The film was scheduled to go on floors in November 2012 but there were dates issues with the actors. Though Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad’s dates were rebooked, Kangna chose to opt out. This led to a delay in the schedule and Abhishek is now left without a female actor to star alongside Madhuri Dixit,” says a source close to the film.
