It seems like Deepika Padukone’s new man is Ranveer Singh! The rumoured secret love story may have begun in Mumbai but it was here in Dubai that it finally came out in the open. Read on for the juicy details of Deepy and Ranveer’s exciting night out.

WHAT HAPPENED THAT NIGHT
The date: January 16, 2013. The occasion: ‘Race 2’ promotions.
Dubai was abuzz with the presence of the 'Race 2' team – Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Ameesha Patel and Deepika Padukone. However, after the promotional events, Deepika went to the snazzy nightclub Movida where a very special friend was waiting for her – Ranveer Singh.

HE APPARENTLY CAME ONLY FOR HER
Insiders say the ‘Band Baaja Baarat’ actor had allegedly come to Dubai to spend time with Deepika and was apparently with her even when she shopped at The Dubai Mall the previous day.
At Movida, Ranveer was seen partying and having a great time, when at around 1am, Deepika walked in. And the scene changed. Our sources saw her chatting and joking with the people around as if they were long-lost friends. The actress apparently has a very warm and friendly nature. The chemistry between the two stars was evident as they soon started close dancing and getting rather up, close and personal. “Deepika seemed to be in a naughty mood, she was having a great time,” says another source who was present at the venue. The couple was there till the wee hours of the morning before the party finally wound up.

RANVEER REPORTEDLY ADMITS TO HIS FEELINGS
Sources close to Ranveer say the actor is really fond of Deepika. We don’t know if this is a rebound relationship (given that his past break-up with Anushka was reportedly quite bitter) but fact is that the actor has been paying a lot of attention to Deepy. An extrovert and enthusiastic, Ranveer is a hit with the ladies and has been linked to almost all his co-stars from Anushka to Parineeti Chopra to Sonakshi Sinha.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Whispers about their closeness have been doing the rounds since a few months. It started when they were signed up for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Ram Leela’. According to reports, the director had asked his lead pair to know each other well before shooting began. It was then that the two actors started hanging out together. They were seen at movie screenings, parties and events and one could see the camaraderie they shared. Insiders suggest this attraction was waiting to happen. They had been spending too much time together of late and it was but natural that they bonded. One really doesn’t know where this relationship is headed but as of now, it seems we have a new pair of lovers in Bollywood!

When masala.com tried to reach the stars for their comments, Deepika's manager denied everything. "There is no truth to this story," she said. Ranveer Singh was busy shooting for 'Ram Leela' and chose not to comment.
